Life-wide Learning Camp (Forms 1 - 3)
This year the F.1 - F.3 Life-wide Learning Camp took place at different places in Hong Kong such as Tuen Mun, Sai Kung and Lantau. For this three-day day camp, students were involved in a number of challenge and activities led by the enthusiastic and dedicated leaders from three different camp organizers.
Once again, the LWL camp was a good opportunity for the classes to strengthen their bonds and also for the new members of the year group to get to know their peers. Team building activities such as Floor Curling and building Roman Canons allowed the students to work together and build up their class spirits. Following all these activities, the debriefing and group sessions helped the students to evaluate and reflect on their activities and themselves so as to help them gain in maturity. At the same time, the gorging activity was once again a challenge for the students, but with the beauty of nature and the encouragement of the teachers and group leaders, all managed to complete this and thoroughly enjoyed the activity.
Overall, this was a fun and enriching experience for all. This camp most certainly helped to build up the year groups’ cohesion and the experience will be remembered for years to come.
